Do you think private treatment centers for alcohol and drugs are needed.?
Treatment centers say they have the answer to alcohlism and charge thousands of pounds for the privilege of a few weeks treatment. Patients then were asked to participate AAor NA which are both free and fully free supprting. Why not cut the middle man? What do you think.
Those centers provide a valuable service because they take people in their lowest moments in and help them recognize their problem of addiction and find better ways to cope with and treat. The AA and NA are also necessary because people with such addictions need support for the rest of their lives.
