Residential Treatment Programs
What are the best PG films out there that are not too childish?

I work in a residential treatment program for adolescents with behavioral problems. Most of them have post-traumatic stress. We have recently decided that a program so that all movies at home only power of G or PG, so that children could not be activated by the film. So my question is – What are some films rated PG high teens actually be interested in seeing?

– ET (a language of it) – Freaky Friday (original movie with Jodie Foster) – Free Willy – Home Alone – Openings – Honey, I Shrunk the Kids – Maze (this and The Princess Bride can be good for teens who like fantasy) – Mr. Holland's October Sky – Opus – The Princess Bride – Rudy – Our Gang – Searching for Bobby Fischer – Second-hand Lions – The Truman Show – Wild America – Wild Hearts can not be broken is The Goonies a film that I would add, but I always thought it deserved a PG-13 (instead of PG) for language and some more frightening elements. I do not know how activate any of these guys, so I hope the films will be reviewed. Good luck.
