Helping Someone With Drug Addiction

A friend of mine who has an addiction to Vicodin and finally quitting is Percoset YAY! He talked to his doctor today and was told you are prescribing a patch and a candle. "What do you mean by 'cone'? Does this mean that they will stop relying on drugs it slowly, or you begin to have to take him less and less each day? Or is it a real pill or somthing of that sort to help him wean off the pills? Can someone please respond? I can not find anything online. People with no real answers do not know what they are talking about does not have to respond. This is a real question that desrves real answers.
That means that they will lower the dose until it is weaned from the medication. Good luck and Congratulations!
