Alcohol Rehab India

Step 8 Made a list of persons we had harmed and became willing to make amends all. This step eight is used by Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) Narcotics Anonymous (NA) Al-Anon, Cocaine Anonymous (CA), Gamblers Anonymous (GA) Emotions Anonymous (EA) Sex and Love Addicts (SALA) Co Dependent Anonymous Anonymous (CODA) Overeaters Anonymous (OA) recovery programs.

Step eight years.

Made a list of persons we harmed and became willing to make amends to them all.

The list in a sense already part written, because people in my resentment and guilt from my list to step 4.

I wrote a list of everyone, not just those who thought it would be easy to tackle, but everyone. To the best of my ability I wrote my list and also I wrote why I have to make peace with them. With the exception of sexual abuse, every person who bothered me, every person who had hurt me, I had made one way or another. I have nobody I never sexually abused. It was strange. The man who raped me when I was a boy kept coming to my mind. I realized that If I wanted people to forgive me, I had to forgive!. I do not know where that man is, or is still alive, but I forgive him. What did Jesus say?: "Let him who has not sinned cast the first stone," not "That he did not commit the same sin that he, cast the first stone."

A sin is a sin. I'm not better than anyone, forgiveness sets people free, arrogance and the feeling of being treated cruelly causing the pain, friction, etc!.

Well, my list was long, I went and talked to Dave about it, who should get closer physically, that I write, and I be willing to repair the damage. so want it, I was involved in a felony, if I went to these institutes would end up in jail!. So we were ready.

People who had inflicted my will, my violence, my pride, my selfishness, my jealousy, my envy, my lust, my greed, my lack of honesty, my pride, my self-pity, etc.

I had beaten a man and that I was tortured because he was not the usual gangster type character that I associated with!. He got on the wrong side of me over a petty argument and I went crazy and became violent, which led him to be hospitalized!. When I am driving around Liverpool, where he lived avoid because they wanted to see, because of guilt would be launched if I saw it!.

I could see the value of this step in a word, said he was sorry, ask forgiveness and try not to do it again, and live a life free of guilt!.

It would be a waste of time to make amendments and then go out and do the same things that lead to friction, resentment or violence.

So again, I began to learn to practice opposites. The road to freedom, he could see the world in the eye, knowing that he had the best I could to clear the debris of the past.

In doing so, makes the character stronger. There is a weak thing to see that you are the problem, but great strength. In reality, the truth can only change myself. To know that you are trying your best to achieve peace.

When I finished my list, I wrote the plan of action, who would approach and when. I had won, so I paid the money to charity to help drill wells in India. I also sponsored two children in the developing world by paying a monthly fee, so they could be helped in various ways.

Sure, I was nervous about approaching people, but I did. He never once made to feel guilty for any person who did the damage!

The flip side is that gives people faith to know people care. I ask you to think this step if you want to forgive him for the way they have treated. Then you have to forgive people for the way You tried!

I did not know he had character flaws, I found out after doing my inventory. Now, if people are not in a program 12 steps, how is that ever going to change, so you have to understand that has changed, but do not expect everyone to start to think and react like you do now, now that is on a spiritual path.

Soldier Billy is the name I am known by in the 12 step fellowships I belong to. I am a recovering alcoholic and addict. I owe my life to the 12 step recovery program. I have been through some very tough times of late and I have not relapsed back into addiction thanks to the help of the 12 steps and some great members of the fellowships I belong to!
