Substance Abuse Recovery
What is the best way to support a friend who is examined in a recovery program for substance-abuse?
I have a friend who has entered a substance abuse program, the 30th. What is the best way to support this man? Send letters and cards? Books? Any thoughts appreciated.
send a card. cards are always nice to have. and if you live near the rehab center, try to visit in the days of access (to get to that point) the important thing is the most that is known to support them in this difficult time … and that's great.
