Have you been affected by any kind of addiction to drugs / alcohol?

Addiction is endemic in American families. USA TODAY / HBO national survey of adults 27-05 since April 31 found that one in five said they had an immediate family member at some point had been addicted to alcohol or drugs. This translates into approximately 40 million American adults with a spouse, parent, sibling or child battling addiction. And that not counting the millions of children living with an addicted parent. Many Americans may find these numbers impressive. But H. Westley Clark, who directs the Center for Treatment Substance Abuse Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services, or SAMHSA, says he is not surprised that 20% of respondents said that having a family member who has been addicted alcohol or drugs. Is this bad and the results and figures highlight the honesty problem of addiction? Would you / you somehow affected by a spouse or close relative, the alcohol and drug addiction?

If my family has been separated for 6 months because of alcohol and things that come with it. lying, cheating, spending outrageous amounts of money .. It will not work. COUNTA stay late .. primarily due to an addiction that was not his wife and children. Now he is trying to recover to do the right thing .. I do not know how to retrieve what we had. WE HAVE 19 YEARS TOGETHER AND I REALLY DO NOT WANT TO LEAVE ALL GOOD TO GO ..
