Rehab Help

I am an alcoholic and want recovery at a rehab but cannot afford it?
I have tried AA in the past and found that I need more than just meetings to get sober. I am looking for a rehab in california that is affordable. I am in no financial position for this but I feel I don’t have much of a choice. Does anyone know a rehab government funded or something for someone unemployed. I am desperate for help. Please no rude answers, this is a serious matter. Thank you!
Over 90% of the rehabs in this country are 12step facilitation (AA-based), the majority of the rest are Narconon (Scientology-based) or heavily religious.
AA has about a 5% success rate, the same as rate of natural remission (people quitting on their own). 12step facilitation has a slightly better success rate.
Here is a list of alcohol treatment methods listed by effectiveness:

Out of the 48 methods compared on the list, 12step facilitation is ranked 37, AA is 38.
Methods that empower people rather than teach people that they are powerless have better results.
