Drug Rehab Programs must address Mind, Body and Spirit
Although many people believe that addiction is simply a psychological or spiritual affliction, one that could handle simply by force of willpower, those who suffer from addiction to know us better. Many rehabilitation programs drug focus only on the psychological aspects of addiction and believe that by handling the addict mind can cure addiction.
But addiction affects the mind, body and spirit and all three of these aspects must be addressed to overcome addiction. When only the mind has been treated in a rehabilitation program drug, the addict is still left with spiritual and physical ailments caused by addiction. However, other programs simply believe that after a few days of detoxification, the body of the addict recovers.
