How I can get into a drug rehabilitation center, penniless, in the southeast, PA?
I'm in Kensington, Philadelphia, and need a center dual diagnosis rehabilitation for 30 days or more, i have opiate dependence yw bipolar disorder, anxiety. I was in a rehabilitation center last week when my insurance expired. I am desperate and soon to be homeless (Tuesday).
I also live in PA. Contact your welfare office County (Department of Public Aid). The rehabilitation or establishment of detoxification can do the paperwork for you. Since you are dual diagnosis, like me, you can easily get into a treatment facility. Because they are unable to be employed, while in the treatment of drug and alcohol, Pennsylvania will automatically provide you with necessary insurance for treatment. I've done it twice, so I'm sure you can do it too. Or go online to find your county DPA or simply look in the blue pages of your telephone directory. good luck!
