Drug Rehab Hospitals
My BF just admitted himself into drug rehab today….. he needs my support ?
what exactly do I say to him I am soo shocked to learn that his addiction he has been hideing from me for 6 yearsfinally got the best of him and last night he didn’t call me and I stayed up all night worrying about where he was and what he was doing ….but he called from the local rehab center and told me he was in the hospital .. I freaked out on him and told him he should of called me and I would of been there for him!! but he feels he needs to do this all on his own ..so he’s owning up to it but what can I do to be more supportive for him!! ? please help me?
ok something i have a lot of know how with. I told my friend i was proud of him for getting help. it made him feel better. and just try being there if its a live in rehab go visit him every day you can bring games or a movie. Griff (my friend) loved mad libs we went through boxes of them. He also may not act like he normally does do to with drawls. it can be scary. he might also go to the im sorry phase. hold and hug is all you can do and reasure him everything is ok. cleaning yourself up is greatly all one you. but having some one there can make it easier. He could be doing this for you. always let him know everything is ok between you two. but never ask one thing Why. why did you do this . why didnt you tell me. all of those. if he wants to tell he will. but dont yell at him he got himself to saftey and thats what you should focus on. but just showing up to see him griff told me made him feel better because it made him think theres some one who thought he could do it.
