What is the connection between drug use and HIV? addiction treatment will decrease the spread of HIV and AIDS?
"I know that are somehow interrelated. I'm just curious to know how the addiction treatment may reduce the spread of aforementioned diseases.
Drug Treatment would be able to reduce the spread of HIV / AIDS, because the drug are more likely to get affected by these diseases. The treatment of addicts will definitely help. Studies have shown that those who inject drugs are not left having to listen treatment liekly are six times more infected with HIV or AIDS compared with those who let themselves be treated.
