Drug Addiction Support
Is the support of friends and family who are being treated for addiction to really make a difference?

I have a guy who goes to undergo rehabilitation to receive the same treatment for addiction to drugs. The thing is that his family supports him. Instead of being happy to finally turn his life around, complain about rehabilitation rates. I wondered if it would really be better for him if his family is there to encourage and support him.

I think the family and friends are really important for someone who is undergoing treatment for addiction. The love, support and understanding from their loved ones the patient no doubt helps in the treatment of the overall situation. Moreover, the participation of family and friends in the program will be able to help extend its benefits as well as strengthen family bonds. Family and friends can act as a support network for when the patient comes out of rehabilitation and help you not to relapse. As for the family of his uncle, perhaps you could enlighten the issue. I hope your uncle treated promptly. I'll be in my prayers.
