Drug abuse rehab is the form of help that is provided to individuals who have a tendency of relying on drugs for various reasons other than treatment or curative purposes such that they end up being fully dependent on the drugs and cannot be seen to function normally without the drugs being in their body systems. Such individuals usually find it hard to part ways with the habit and often need suitable help for them to stop the abuse. It is for this reason that Rehabilitation Centers were put in place so that drug addicts seeking help could easily be appropriately assisted.
Knowing that drug abuse affects each person differently, several approaches are usually used to treat patients in different ways so that the patients are able to overcome their individual addictions in a way that best suits them. One common approach used as part of drug abuse rehab is the Residential Drug Treatment. This program is mostly provided to patients with serious addictions. Once the patients are enrolled in the Rehab Centers, they get to be retained there as they continue receiving treatment until they get better. The reason for doing this is to prevent the patient from accessing the drugs while under treatment and at the same time, isolate them from other abusers. While in the rehab center, patients are often subjected to numerous forms of treatment that may seem fit for them until the moment they completely become self reliant.
Residential rehab involves both therapeutic and the 12 step Drug Treatment Programs. The therapeutic part of the treatment uses a cognitive-behavioral therapy as an approach that seeks to know the relationship between the patient’s thoughts or feelings and his behavior. After establishing the relationship, knowing the root cause of the addiction is most of the time easy to do and this usually makes it easy for appropriate treatment to be administered to the patient. On its part, the 12 step program involves numerous recovery methods used to help both the addict as well as his or her family go through the treatment process without any major problems. One of the methods of treatment used by the 12 step recovery program is counseling. This approach is meant to offer the patient some kind of motivation and a sense of worthiness so that he or she may finally get the self driven initiative needed to end the addiction.
Alternative therapies such as acupuncture are also among other drug abuse rehab approaches used by some of the doctors working in rehabilitation centers. These therapies are often used so as to help alleviate symptoms that occur as a result of one being addicted to drugs. In order to use these therapies, one needs to have many years of practice and experience of using them so as to attain successful outcomes. However, over the years, little evidence has been provided to show or confirm the safety or efficiency of using alternative therapies and it is for this reason that apart from most places in Asia, most rehab centers around the world do not put them into practice.

Why not research and write about the corruption in the justice system? Compare the provisions in the US Constitution with how our present day judicial system functions. I know of dirty cops, lawyers, judges and prosecutor’s. People commit crimes and get off on technical issues, this is wrong. Lawyers only care about winning regardless of what crime has been committed and judges rule from the bench. Judges cannot make law(s), only congress makes laws, Judges are supposed to make sure that an individuals constitutional rights are protected and that the rules of the court are followed.
If only somebody had the b*lls to actually challenge the corruption that exists in our judicial system. I write letters and file charges against federal judges and it gets ignored because the judicial system ignores the constitution and their “oath of office” The lower courts ignore the USSC rulings all the time which they are not allowed to do, nor do the lower courts have the power to do this but it continues to happen. Need examples?

28 Days (Special Edition) $2.96 To appreciate 28 Days, it’s best to be thankful that director Betty Thomas hasn’t forced Sandra Bullock into a remake of Clean and Sober. Some critics have scoffed at the mov… |
