What are the grounds for terminating parental rights in the state of California?
I am a mother seeking to terminate the father's rights my two years of age. He was convicted of a felony and serious misdemeanors and jailed in March when he was 11 months old. One of the minor offenses against the abuse was inflicted to me and then when I told him it was over and that he would file the divorce, I choked until I passed out on the resulting felony and misdemeanor for violating the order restriction. The other misdemeanor was to break the order again contacted me from prison. Recently released from prison and last month entered a rehabilitation center to address their problems of drug abuse is a program of 12 months.
