If you are having problems with drinking and have resorted to attend the meeting Alcoholics Anonymous is probably determined to get rid of alcoholism. An AA meeting may be opened or closed. Public Meeting invites anyone, regardless of their status – alcoholic or non alcoholic. A basket is passed around by voluntary donations of any quantity. Not required to contribute. The general meeting is to end again with a prayer. Keep these numbers as these people do not hesitate someone to come and help if you are craving for a drink and finds it difficult to control or repress their desire.
AA meetings can be different each time, and vary from locality to locality, and they have no strict guidelines or structure.
