Alcohol Treatment Seattle

It seems like every day a new report is issued about what people need to avoid eating. Eliminating things from your diet is a lifelong process it seems. Salt, fat, carbohydrates and high fructose corn syrup are all reported as being poison, especially if too much of these items is eaten. Even fruit and milk are sometimes viewed as bad if eaten too frequently or from a dairy that uses steroids on their cows. In addition to the foods that should be eliminated from people’s lives they are also told to give up cigarettes, television, drinking, and a plethora of other indulgences. What people fail to realize is that adding certain things to your life will be just as healthy as eliminating things. In some cases, some things added to your life are even more beneficial. Exercise is an example of this. Adding sufficient physical activity to your day will add years to your life and prevent numerous health problems. It can be tough to find time to exercise, and equally as difficult to get motivated. Contact a personal trainer or gym if you are ready to commit to adding exercise to your schedule.

Exercise may seem like a lot of work and require you to really put your nose to the grind, but some things you can add to your life that will improve your health and well-being, and they will not feel like work. Meditation is an example of this. Spending twenty minutes alone each day, clearing your mind of all its burdens can change the entire path of your day. Some people prefer to meditate first thing in the morning. The peaceful time alone prepares them for their day and sets them on the right path to face any challenges that arise. Others prefer to take some time halfway through the day to regroup and make sure things are going the right way. And finally, there are people who enjoy meditating at the end of the day. It gives them time to reflect on things and it relaxes their mind and body for a deep night’s rest.

Aside from meditation and exercise, massage will make a great addition to anyone’s life. It may seem to some that massage is nothing more than a physical indulgence like eating a piece of cake or taking a nap. The truth is massage has numerous physical and mental health benefits. It helps flush toxins from your body and helps injuries heal faster. The time you take having a regular massage is like a gift to yourself. Some people believe because it feels so good it cannot possibly be healthy, but it is. It is especially good if you have chosen to add exercise to your daily routine. Reward yourself for a few weeks worth of hard exercise by scheduling a massage. The newly worked out muscles will thank you and you will feel much better after your session. There are also oils and lotions that can be used by a professional therapist that will make a massage even more beneficial. While everyone else is cutting out the bad, remember to add some of the good.

Connor Sullivan has signed his teenage son up to work with a Seattle personal trainer this summer. His daughter uses the Seattle gym on a daily basis as part of her training for a marathon.

Question for guys only….and be honest, please!?

Guys age 21 and up: Would you go to a spa that catered specifically to men only? An environment that offers haircuts, spa treatments and flat screen TV’s with sports. While you are waiting for your appointment, you can be served alcohol (of course, in moderation!). Do you think there is a market for this? It would start in Seattle, WA but be franchised across the nation and possibly the world. Let me know what you think!

In general, this wouldn’t be too popular for a few reasons. But if you could target you market to high end type customers – the same kind of people that the airlines target for Admirals Clubs and the like – you may be successful. In general, men aren’t in to spa stuff and hanging out with other men who are scantily dressed in towels. And I’m sure the sevice you are describing would have a price attached to it in order to justify the extra stuff, but most guys go to supercuts for a reason. You would have a small market for this, but if you could somehow identify them, it may work, but I wouldn’t invest in it.
