Alcohol Treatment For Professionals
Alcohol Treatment For Professionals

Please those who are involved in the study or treatment of drug / brain development "?

I I fought with a gambling problem, now three years. He said, for players Annonymous, I am beyond what they can do. My body was just from puberty, when I started taking large amounts of drugs and alcohol. Add to puberty awareness sexual orientation that age brings, and the philosophy of tough matches of the day (70), I've never been able to obtain enough fun. My brain is constantly trying to find ways to make me feel or not feel. I spend every waking minute oral fixation with cigarettes, from coffee with four shots esp. and a ton of sugar, beer, whiskey, soda, junk food, sweets, salt, Spicy Food, etc. I am the crank for 25 years, I just calm right now. I recently discovered that the money is not so great, the adrenaline … is stronger and when I lose the most to lose and the most devastating to my life, that is, the greater the rush. I know I need professional help (not insurance. THO). Is there a clinic? Anyone?

I can identify with you. I am 32 this year. I was in treatment detoxification. I was a leader of crack / coke head. I am more and more agoraphobic (stay in my room most of the day). When I constantly emphasized the collection in the hair on my body to "prepare" myself (OCD). These behaviors have started when I 16. After reading a lot of information and investigation of a large number of "diseases", I found that I can be in deficit attention. This explains the problems of attention span, but it also means I need the original "extra" stimulation. Each level of stimulation leads to another "more and better" incentives. Each layer enhances the level of anxiety they feel. Like an onion, which creates a series of layers that surround each otherand a central core. In the case of each layer must be peeled in order. Cause and effect. Each layer enhances the skins and the next time. Example, in my case, crack and cocaine was the straw that made me ask for help. I went to rehab and spent six months Narcotics Anonymous before I understood what it was a habit for me. Relapse once returned to the second best option, weeds. Now a year later, after having seen how this issue affects me, I am removing bad herbs in my life and trying to get rid of behaviors that go with it. Cause and effect. A behavior is used to mask another. If you do not remove the mask not himself. But it can still be. So, get a new mask See what's underneath. I wish you good luck. Our people have a lot of road work before us to work behind us. They say they do not ripen after drug in the first place. I'm a 16 year old trying to live life 32. It is difficult, but better than the last 16 years have been.

When a Man Loves a Woman

When a Man Loves a Woman

$2.51

When a Man Loves a Woman is a dumb title (not another classic pop song, please) for a very smart movie. A kind of gender-switch take on The Lost Weekend, it’s about a woman (Meg Ryan) whose alcoholism almost destroys her family. That may sound like just another TV movie, but When a Man Loves a Woman is so authentic in detail and emotion, that everything about it seems fresh, urgent, and engrossing…

28 Days (Special Edition)

28 Days (Special Edition)

$3.93

To appreciate 28 Days, it’s best to be thankful that director Betty Thomas hasn’t forced Sandra Bullock into a remake of Clean and Sober. Instead Thomas has balanced her comedic sensibility (evident in Dr. Dolittle and Private Parts) with the seriousness of alcoholism and substance abuse, and she succeeds without compromising the gravity of the subject matter. Some critics have scoffed at the mov…
