Alcohol Rehab Facilities

Has anyone been in rehab for Alcohol Abuse? Advice?
I'm thinking of entering a rehabilitation program here and there. I have a serious problem, although I do not drink as much as I used, I'm what you call a 'blackout' alcoholic drink until I black. Well the other I did and stupidly days behind the wheel. Wrecked the car, started walking to a store, I saw a car, got out of the way, but when I jumped back, hit my hand and screwed up. I have a lot of fear. I do not want to do this. I'm having a hard time believing that he should go to save my life. Anyone ever there to a rehabilitation center? I just need some information. I think I have fear, not only because I am ashamed to ask for help, but also the "fear to the unknown. "Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Yes I've been in a rehabilitation unit, I went in the November 30, 2006 and have drunk a drop, and that runs on the principle of AA twelve-step program, all I know rehabilitation units in the United Kingdom use this program has helped millions around the world does million since it began in 1935. The last time I heard Smart program for six months through Yahoo Q / A, I joined because I'm always open to suggestions and willing to learn, I have to say I was very disappointed in the number of meeting places, 500 worldwide, AA has several hundred thousand, but also asked for money, at meetings of AA to deliver what you can afford, you need not pay anything unless you wish. No drill sergeant AA meetings, there is no such thing as a former alcoholic, is a lifelong condition, you can never safely drink again and I am very happy with that. You do not have be afraid to ask for help, all members will be happy to give your phone number for you to call day or night. I'm posting the addresses of AA, one for the UK and one for the U.S., I suggest you go to a meeting in the first place most people get sober, without having to go into rehab, that will give you free advice there. You are welcome to my mail directly if you want some advice, I work for the AA hotline 24 hours emergency. EDIT: Please tell us what their experience LSD in rehabilitation units, I worked in one, of course, you can leave at any time, you can quit the hospital at any time, but it would be a fool to leave were better. And of course you have to wills, the speaker wants, that's half the battle, not everything, but.
