Alcohol Misuse

Possible reasons for the abuse of alcohol and drugs affect young people?
Your answers will help me with my research for a presentation I have to give on the above subject. Is the increase due to culture, or class in your case, or is merely the "mentality of throw," because some young people feel that their lives will be worthless. Please go into detail comment, 10 points will be more reflective response.
There are endless amounts of possible reasons for younger generations to drugs of abuse and / or alcohol, but they fall mainly under the biopsychosocial (BPS) of addiction. The model suggests that addiction BPS / abuse of the tracks are formed by the interaction between biology persons (eg, predisposition to addiction traits – although it is not a theory parsimonious or the indisputable truth about addiction gene, there is much evidence that points toward addiction run in families), sociability (ie, are drugs available, the social pressure from friends, social environment, finance, employment etc) and psychology (eg, self-esteem, confidence, in general, how people feel about themselves and how this affects their social construction of the world we live in). Addiction knows no bounds, so I do not think the class itself has much young people to do with drugs or drink, but the indirect factors that surround the class, ie money / wealth can have an impact. I am not suggesting that if you have money can use drugs and if you can not, is a much more complex than that. But, by way of example, if a child has plenty of money and can get what they want, then to pay for drugs not be difficult. By contrast, a child born into a poor family that is able to offer luxuries in life, a simple example, expensive trainers, that child can feel left out in the school and the knock on effect of this could be low self-esteem, which can cause trust issues or the desire to "adapt", which can lead to substance abuse. Ultimately these examples are far from simplistic, but I hope you see my point, that a combination of factors may interact to form an improper way for a developing child. You can not underestimate the impact of peer pressure in our younger population, or the meaning of addiction in the family or the existence of substance abuse in the area set to grow, but no single factor alone is to cause substance abuse, but together these factors can add up and account for why children as young as age 8 final with serious addictions. Just to expand and responds directly to some of the points in his question: Is is because of culture – cultures that promote drug use is likely to make affordable drugs, with the social network of young person that allows them to be subjected to use of drugs. But living in a place where much of the population of drug / alcohol, not to that young people ate intended to do the same. Possible class – unlikely, as there is substance abuse in each class, if you are born into a poverty-driven farm advice or born in the royal family does not mean you or you will not develop an addiction. Discard mentality – what this really? There are no employment opportunities or activities to collaborate with these things ?…. not directly cause the abuse of substances, but it can cause low self-esteem, fear, anxiety, stress, depression, lethargy, procrastination, all of which are sometimes associated with drug or Alcohol Abuse. However, if a teenager says, "I drink because I'm bored" or "there is nothing else to do "It may be true, but it is likely that other teens in the same area, which are so boring, but not abuse drugs / alcohol – his psychology may be similar, but their biology and sociability is likely to be different.
