Alcohol Detox Facility
Anyone who ever …………..?
a rehabilitation or detoxification? I went into a detox center 06 March last year. I voluntarily recognize me because alcohol was doing my best. I did everything that makes the average addict. Lying, cheating, sneak, hide, go without food so that I'm two weeks to reach my first year away from my self-made prison. I have never attended an AA meeting or any other support group. Please do not suggest that I do. So far it has been easier than I thought it would be, and my questions are for anyone who has struggled with an addiction or an acquaintance who did. Have there been difficult times? Have you fallen? Do you trust yourself, not a relapse? Do you attend support groups? Feel free to use this site annominity relate their experiences. I was in a rehabilitation center twice and a nut house a couple of times behind the drugs or alcohol. There will be tough times. There will be new things and fun times that have relapsed, but the trick is to forgive yourself if you do and getting back on the horse again. I trust that should not fall back never went to any group. Narcanon was initiated by the Scientologists, so it is out! Al-Anon is religious for my taste. Private counseling is also undoubtedly the way to go if you would be willing to that. I'm pretty sure detoxification center was thrilled to hear these questions from you, it shows that you are taking your life seriously! I seriously get a psychologist to help with principle. Does the detox center has a place to help or refer you to? It's not about psychology to life, just some one to talk about it in the principle that you know you are not judging, but you can criticize a bit and be really useful. Good luck. I know it's difficult to stop using, in legal and ads on television constantly. Stay away from the ball games on television, really! Keep busy, too! I have in my thoughts. Stay strong, you can do it, you already have!
