what is the difference between alcoholism and Alcohol Abuse?

I believe that alcoholism someone is still making even a health problem that might be incompatible with consumption. Alcohol abuse in my eyes is just drinking too much and too often. If your getting drunk every night while you are abusing alcohol. This is how I think in these terms.
